MEET OKEKE AKUDO NKEMJIKA CHRISTIEN
She is a Christian who started writing between the ages of four and six. She started off with short stories, then essays and now poetry.
Nkemjika was a participator at the Rise National Interactive Youth Forum in 2009.
Nkemjika is a graduate of the Prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She read English & Literary Studies. She has been invited to the Fidelity Bank Creative Writing, Lagos, and Garden City Literary Festival, Port Harcourt Workshops in July and October 2012 respectively, and the Ebedi International Creative Writers` Residency Programme in Iseyin, Oyo State, in 2014.
Her poems have been aired in some of the leading stations in this part of the world, and published in the national Newspapers. Her works have been published in over a dozen of International and National Poetry Anthologies.
In October 2013, her poem, Addiction`s Affliction, which was translated into a movie flick, was nominated for an award at the Eko International Film Festival in Lagos State, Nigeria. ‘Dance of the Estranged’, another poem of hers, has been used by Toni Payne as a poetry drama.
Nkemjika is also the author of the bestseller poetry collection on the amazon platform, Beyond Dialogismos. She is inspired by God and nature.
